Top 4 Disney Movies That Has My Heart

I love, love Disney. Disney is my life. I grew up with Disney, and because of that, I already know I’ll be passing that love down to my future children.

Now, before anyone comes for me, I adore Disney princess movies. All of them. But for the sake of this list, I’ll be excluding princess films (although The Little Mermaid and Cinderella will forever be my top favorites).

So, outside of princess magic, here are my Top 4 Disney movies that hold a special place in my heart.

Top 4: High School Musical 1

Yes—absolutely yes.
For a ’90s baby, High School Musical had to be on this list.

When it first came out, it wasn’t just a movie—it was the trend at the time. Everyone was watching it, singing the songs, and learning the choreography. Honestly, everything about this movie is on point. The storyline may be cliché, but it’s cute and comforting. The music is catchy, the dances are fun. On top of that, the cast fit their roles perfectly.

This one will always be a classic.

Top 3: Toy Story 3

You might be wondering—out of all four Toy Story movies, why Toy Story 3?

This movie highlights a stage of life that none of us can escape: growing up. Saying goodbye to childhood comfort items isn’t easy. And that moment when Andy hands the toys over to Bonnie? I related to him so deeply.

When he drops the toys off with Bonnie and hesitates with Woody, you can feel how much Woody meant to him. He didn’t want to let go—but he knew it was time.

As a result, this one hit harder than the others.

Top 2: Ratatouille

Now, Ratatouille?
Honestly, there’s no sentimental backstory here. I just think this movie is complete silliness in the best way.

I just think Ratatouille is pure, chaotic fun. A rat who can cook? Who secretly controls a human chef? Absolute comedy gold. Chef’s kiss. LOL

I really loved how Remy controlled Linguini by pulling his hair. Obviously it’s wasn’t realistic, but it was such a clever and creative idea. I do wish Linguini had been a bit of a success towards the end. Although, the ending wasn’t all that bad either.

Not going to lie, it actually made me want to try the ratatouille dish. Hmmm..

Top 1: Lilo & Stitch

And finally, number one.

Lilo & Stitch has been that movie for me ever since I was a child. I watched it constantly, and it never gets old.

The message of ohana—“nobody gets left behind or forgotten” means everything to me. It’s simple, powerful, and incredibly inspiring on a personal level. No matter how many times I re-watch this movie, it will always feel like home.

Disney movies have a way of growing with us. What starts as childhood entertainment turns into comfort, life lessons, and memories we carry forever. These movies shaped my childhood—and honestly, they still shape who I am today.

And yes, this love for Disney? It’s absolutely being passed down.
